Canton Street is the "main street" of downtown Roswell. Quaint area with shops, restaurants and bars. It's very close to our wedding and welcome dinner venues. Restaurants in the area: Salt Factory Pub, Roux on Canton, 1920 Tavern, Ceviche Taqueria & Margarita bar, Osteria Mattone, Table & Main, Rock-N-Taco, & Gate City Brewery.
This is an open-air shopping mall with plenty of stores, restaurants and bars. Convenient for guests staying at Hilton Alpharetta Atlanta. Notable restaurants are South City Kitchen (our favorite for southern staples like shrimp & grits, fried green tomatoes, and Georgia mountain trout), Cafe Intermezzo (versatile place for coffee, dessert, wine, brunch and dinner), Cru Wine Bar, Superica (Mexican with homemade sauces), Rumi's Kitchen (upscale Persian), True Food Kitchen (healthy focus), Marlow's Tavern (popular Atlanta chain with American pub food).

Atlanta Braves Playing the Detroit Tigers April 28-30 at Truist Park. Even if you don't want to see a game, you can visit The Battery Atlanta- an attached open air shopping center with lots of dining options.
If you are coming to Georgia looking to try BBQ- hit up any Fox Bros. location!
For our out of town guests interested in Southern BBQ we recommend Jim N. Nick's. It is conveniently located about 1 mile from the hotel and is a fan favorite. Make sure you arrive Hungry!
Montaluce is a 50 minute drive from Hilton Alpharetta Atlanta and a highlight of Georgia's wine country. Good wine tasting, and our favorite winery to choose for lunch!
Other great wineries are Kaya (good views & charcuterie plates) Yonah Mountain Vineyards (pair with a hike) Frogtown (good red wine and woodfired pizzas), and Fainting Goat (further drive then the others- but amazing views).
1 hour drive from Hilton Alpharetta Atlanta. If you had a Cabbage Patch Kid or stood in a long line to buy one for your child, this place is full of nostalgia! You could also pair this with a visit to the North Georgia Wine Country.
This is a 90 minute drive from Atlanta- but a truly unique experience that kids and adults will both love. You drive yourself through the safari and feed exotic animals like zebras and emus! They sell food to feed the animals- buy way more than you think you need- as it is super fun when the animals are swarming you for food. And trust us- don't drive your own vehicle- rent one of their jeeps if you don't have a rental car,
One hour 20 minute drive from Atlanta. If you've enjoyed ziplining anywhere in the world, we'd be willing to bet this one rivals or tops it! Note- kids have to be at least 10 to enjoy the best ziplines. Definitely a high adventure option.
The dining options at Avalon and Historic Downtown Roswell are all delicious and convenient for guests staying at Hilton Alpharetta Atlanta. We also wanted to highlight a few of our favorite special occasion restaurants in other locations. Ray's Killer Creek (Seafood & Steak- very close to Hilton Alpharetta Atlanta with easy parking). Canoe is lovely for dining with views of the Chattahoochee River. Aria in Buckhead is an all-time favorite.
